DNA PROJECT
The DNA Project has begun for our family.  There are currently thousands of descendents of Eliza Martin of whom we have not yet made a connection.   Individuals receive 50% of their DNA from their mother and 50% from their father.      The DNA is accomplished thru Ancestry.com.  Individuals tested must be at least 21 years old and agree to allow their results to be shared on Ancestry.com (not by name but by initials) in order to locate DNA matches.   This information is more relevant and recently targeting our family history a few hundred or even a thousad years age.  The individual wanting to be tested must be a blood descendent of Eliza Martin, not related by marriage. The goal is to test at least one family member who are descendents from each of the children of Eliza Martin.

How is the DNA given? a small vile of silava is collected from the recipient.

How long does it take for the results to come back? 6-8 Weeks

What will the test results reveal?  Full Ethnicity Estimate and DNA Matches on Ancestry.COM
